Martine Perrault

Martine Perrault obtained her Civil Law degree (B.C.L.) and Common Law degree (LL.B.) from McGill University and has been a member of the Bar of Quebec since 1990. Martine quickly established her own firm and has practiced in the areas of real estate, commercial and corporate law.

Real estate transactions and commercial leases represent the centerpiece of Martine’s practice. She deals regularly with a variety of parties including pension funds, management firms and real estate holdings. Martine is also one of Quebec’s leading authorities in the area of real estate brokerage law and has written extensively, given conferences and taught in this area for more than twenty years.

Business start-ups also represent an area where Martine has practiced since her admission to the Bar. She services small and medium sized businesses and has developed and acquired wide-ranging expertise with respect to the physical implementation and judicial organization of healthcare professionals’ practices.

Martine is particularly adept at explaining complex situations to her clients which allows them to become completely implicated in the decision-making process. She is creative when it comes time to propose a solution or to draft a contract or any other legal document. These qualities explain why she represents many “repeat clients” who have been working with her over the course of many years.

Joanie Provost Brisebois

Joanie Provost Brisebois obtained her degree in Paralegal Technology from Collège Ahuntsic in 2015 following a stage (internship) as a paralegal at Option consommateurs. Joanie later worked for two years in a Montreal law firm before joining our team in October 2018.

Joanie’s talent, experience and practical hands-on implication in the mandates on which she works was immediately recognized by Atchison Perrault and, more importantly, by the firm’s clients. Her strong work ethic, bilingualism and attention to detail brings added value to the litigation matters in which the firm is implicated as well as to the firm’s mandates in real estate and corporate law.

During the course of her work, Joanie prepares draft legal proceedings and conducts jurisprudential and doctrinal research. She regularly assists lawyers in the organization and management of complex litigation files and in preparing hearings. Joanie also is well versed in analyzing the corporate status of various businesses. She also prepares the necessary documentation for both federal and provincial incorporations and proceeds in organizing and updating corporate minute books.

She assists clients on both a practical and the administrative level and helpful in following up and answering queries. Joanie continues to increase her knowledge by frequently participating in various training activities, notably in corporate matters.
